Chelsea stepped through the doors of the convention center with a rush of excitement.
She had just turned 18 and graduated high school and was looking forward to starting college in the fall. Her grades, particularly in the science classes, had gotten her in to her first choice of school.
Before that however, the start of summer brought her a chance to go back to her childhood. The local anime and game convention was happening that weekend. Playing the Part (Plastic Figure Hypno TF D)
Cosplaying as a plastic anime figurine of myself was always a dream I had, and today, I was making it a reality. I had poured countless hours into crafting the perfect outfit. As I looked at myself in the mirror, I couldn't help but admire the intricacies of my ensemble. My maid outfit was a true masterpiece, designed to mimic the appearance and texture of solid molded plastic. The bodice of the outfit was adorned with tiny, raised details that gave it a glossy, three-dimensional appearance. It felt smooth to the touch but had the rigidness of a plastic figurine. The skirt flared out in a playful A-line shape, with each fold meticulously crafted to resemble the precise lines of an anime figurine's attire. I could almost hear the "swoosh" sound it made in my mind. My stockings had a slightly rubbery texture, just like the ones on a real figurine, and they clung perfectly to my legs. The gloves were made to mimic the feel of molded plastic, and my shoes had a cute, exaggerated shape, like something straight out of an anime world. But it wasn't just the outfit. I had gone all out with makeup and styling. My skin was lightly coated with a subtle sheen to emulate that glossy plastic look, and my eyes were exaggerated with large, sparkling contact lenses. Even my hair was styled in gravity-defying anime fashion. I looked at myself in the mirror and couldn't help but smile. "I can't believe how realistic this all looks," I mused to myself. As I continued to admire my appearance, I began to lose myself in the fantasy. I thought about how inanimate and artificial I appeared, and that thought was strangely pleasant. It was as though I was hypnotizing myself without even realizing it. My movements became slower and more deliberate, mimicking the jerky motions of a figurine. "I... am... just... a... plastic... toy," I whispered softly, my voice sounding almost robotic. Unintentionally, I kept thinking along those lines, my mind getting lost in the sensation. My limbs moved less and less, and my speech grew even more mechanical. My body felt increasingly rigid, and I found it harder to move as I imagined myself turning into an inanimate figure. A blissful smile began to form on my face as my body gradually froze into a cute, endearing pose. My arms were bent at the elbows, one hand delicately holding the brim of an imaginary hat, while the other was playfully extended, as if I were waving hello to an unseen admirer. My legs were crossed, and I stood on my tiptoes, as though I were forever ready to strike a charming pose for a photoshoot. My face wore a serene expression, with slightly parted lips and wide, glossy eyes that seemed to gaze off into the distance. My eyelids drooped ever so slightly, conveying a sense of contentment and tranquility. My whole being exuded an air of innocence and allure, capturing the essence of an anime figurine brought to life. As I stood there, frozen in my cute pose and plasticized appearance, I couldn't help but revel in the surreal and enchanting world I had become a part of. In my own hypnotic reverie, I was living out the dream of being the very embodiment of an anime figurine, complete with a captivating and adorable persona.
